Sault Transmission has been providing reliable automotive and transmission repairs in Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas of Ontario and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula since the 1970s. Originally started by an out-of-town investor, our shop has been locally owned and operated since 2008, when we moved to our current location. Both owners are transmission experts who each have over 30 years of experience. We have a Class A technician and apprentice onsite, as well as licensed transmission builders.

We stay current with developing technology to provide our customers with all possible updates and ensure that problems do not recur and we employ the latest computer software to identify problems. We recently invested $12,000 in new technology to provide our customers with improved diagnostics and expert repairs.

Our shop is CAA-approved to provide complete automotive repairs, and all of our transmission work is covered by an ATRA coast-to-coast warranty in both the United States and Canada.
